We had booked another hotel, based on a search that told us it was near our final destination. Which turned out to be, not true. So, last minute at 1:30am, we found Welcome Inn Kahoka. We pulled into the parking lot just after 2 a.m., and after the night we’d had, our expectations were low. The front desk was closed, but I called the number on their page, and got voicemail. I left a message, and to our surprise we were getting a call back in just a couple of minutes! She booked us, took payment over the phone and had us in our room within 10 minutes. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, A/C worked great, we had cable TV, and the shower had great water pressure. If you’re looking for fancy and frills, this is not your place. But if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable and quiet room, for a reasonable rate, then you should definitely check out the Welcome Inn Kahoka. We will definitely be back! Thank you!!
18 of us checked in on Friday for the Memorial weekend. We set up two canopies on the gravel at the south side, and began partying. The owner was raking grass and stopped to visit. He also owns the local liquor store. I asked if he had Dr. McGillicuddy raw vanilla and he said he would check. A few hours later he brought us a bottle. The rooms were great, quiet, and clean. We all look forward to our next stay!!
Kahoka is the family reunion destination so we have been here often. The rooms are clean and the hospitality is great. Many memories have been made here.
My Aunt made the reservations and said that the staff was very helpful with answering all her questions. We were coming from 3& 6 hours away for a funeral. The room was clean, nicely decorated and the water pressure in the shower was amazing! It's great that it's a full non-smoking facility since my Aunt has asthma. I would highly recommend staying here!

The place is secluded. Not much around. Very quiet. Very nice staff. Room was perfect. I will be visiting again if I am in the area again.

Rooms are clean, including the carpet. Great water pressure. Beds are comfortable and not broke down. I'm impressed! I've stayed all over the united states in 2 star hotels or better. I googled hotels in this area, this was the only one. Called made the reservation in minutes. Didn't even check the reviews. 4hrs later we got here. The comfort of this room, reminds me of going to grandma's house as a kid. The towels are soft and fluffy and almost smelled of grandma's. This is one of the cleanest, cozy, quiet, hotels I've stayed in. Definitely will stay here again. This is a rare find!
